Around midnight last night I was startled awake by a loud clicking noise. When I opened my eyes I saw a lady dressed in a long dress at the foot of my bed walking towards my bedroom door. She was about 5′ tall and the dress looked like a period dress from the 1800’s with puffy sleeves, a tiny waist and flowing skirt. She was dark, like shadowy, and three dimensional. I could not make out any defining features. However, her dress moved and seemed to reflect or glimmer as she walked. She went through the door and vanished.
I had no idea what the clicking noise was that I heard so I asked AI. The clicking noise: In some instances, a clicking sound represents the acoustic friction of a spiritual entity entering or exiting a physical space, or a sudden change in the room’s electromagnetic frequency. The shimmering quality of her dress indicates that while she appeared as a shadow, her underlying composition was made of light or a high-frequency, reflective energy. It suggests a presence that is poised, dignified, and not inherently malevolent.
She was simply moving through and posed no harm. I likely witnessed a brief thinning of the veil between dimensions or historical timelines.
I have never seen a ghost like this when fully awake. I have seen a smoke-like mist and heard them call my name, but never had one visit me in full 3D like this. I am grateful.
